A temporary works engineering position with a mid-sized consultancy delivering structural engineering services to the building and construction sector. The firm operates nationally with a WA office supporting commercial, residential, and mixed-use construction projects.
The role covers formwork design, propping and shoring systems, scaffolding, crane bases, and construction-stage structural assessments. You will develop construction methodology and sequencing plans, conduct site inspections, and coordinate with principal contractors and site teams throughout construction phases.
Requirements
•Tertiary qualification in structural or civil engineering
•5+ years' experience with temporary works or construction-phase engineering
•Proficiency in structural analysis software and AutoCAD/Revit
•Knowledge of AS3610, AS/NZS 4576 and WHS requirements
